The text collects the Proceedings of the Congress that the European Catechesis Team held from 1 to 6 June 2022 in Brussels. The association was born from the spontaneous initiative of a group of European catechists on the sidelines of the First International Catechetical Congress held in Rome in 1950, on the occasion of the Holy Year. The members meet every two years to reflect on issues relating to catechesis with particular reference to the Old Continent. The theme of the meeting was The prophetic insertion of faith in postmodern European culture, in dialogue with the Directory for Catechesis of 2020. The interventions highlight, from time to time, the strengths on which the Church should focus its attention to make the Gospel resonate effectively, even today.
